Privacy notice
What we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. Short, because there is not much of it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Industrial Telecom Ltd, trading as Industel, of Lasyard House, Underhill Street, Bridgnorth, Shropshire WV16 4BB, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at helpdesk@industel.co.uk or on 01746 740050.
What this site collects
If you complete the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide, plus the organisation name and telephone number if you choose to give them. Nothing else on this site collects personal data about you.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, and loads no resources from third parties - the fonts, images and scripts are all served from this domain. There is therefore no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Our web server keeps ordinary technical logs of requests, which may include IP addresses. These exist to keep the service running and secure.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to carry on that conversation. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us about our services, and where a contract follows, the steps taken at your request before entering into it.
We will not add you to a marketing list, sell your details, or share them with third parties for their own purposes.
Where it goes
Enquiries are recorded on our own systems and forwarded to our internal mailbox. Our infrastructure and the people who administer it are in the United Kingdom. Where a colleague elsewhere in the group needs to be involved in answering you, we will only share what is necessary to do that.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the relationship or enquiry is live, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to helpdesk@industel.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change how this site handles personal data, we will update this notice.
