Accessibility
We build accessible software for clients. It would be embarrassing not to do the same here.
What we have done
This site was built to aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA. In practice that means:
- Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link
- Semantic headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers get real structure
- Text contrast checked against AA thresholds on both the dark and light sections
- Text reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide, and survives 200% zoom
- All animation is disabled when your system asks for reduced motion
- The contact form has real labels, and errors are described in text rather than by colour
- Nothing on the site depends on JavaScript to read or use
- Images carry alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
Where we are not certain
We have not yet had this site independently audited, so we are describing what we built rather than claiming a verified conformance level. If you find something that does not work, we would genuinely like to know - it is the fastest way for us to fix it.
